The City and County are following the State of California's Resilience Roadmap for modifying the statewide Stay Home order. The State’s Roadmap provides stages for workplace re-opening and state directed guidelines for business. Currently, the City and County are in "Early Phase 2" of the State's Resilience Roadmap. The County has created a very useful set of guidelines, check lists and self-certification forms to help with reopening: click here

Business Reopening Inquiry Form:

To support businesses operating in San Luis Obispo and to answer questions regarding reopening operations, the City has implemented an online Business Reopening Inquiry form. The online form provides business owners the option to request clarification on what operations can be performed at this time and even have a City staff person visit your business.

To support businesses operating in San Luis Obispo and to answer questions if a business can reopen, the City has implemented a dedicated business support assistance within the Business & Community Hotline. The phone number is 805-783-7835 and is staffed during regular business hours. After hours calls will be returned the next business day.

SLO Take-Out and Delivery Business Listing Form:

Is your restaurant or cafe offering to-go, delivery or curbside orders? Please complete this form if you would like your restaurant to be added to our new map of local takeout and delivery options. Once you're on the map, we will help you spread the word to the community that your business is open. We care about our SLO businesses and we are here to support you.

Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control Information: 

The Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control is providing temporary relief measures to help businesses recover from COVID-19. For the latest information please check the ABC website.

The City is working to provide links to the resources small businesses can use to navigate the CARES Act small business component and will continue to update the City’s COVID-19 page with this information. 

Direct Business Loan Resources:

Small Business Administration, SBA 7(a) LOAN: the CARES Act authorizes $350 billion worth of Small Business Administration loans for Small Business’ to apply for. More info here and a summary of the loan can be found here.
