Clerical Error on Utilities Sewer Lateral Postcard

 We are aware that some community members recently received a postcard regarding a sewer lateral rebate that contained incorrect names, due to a clerical error. We sincerely apologize for any confusion or concerns this may have caused. 

Please be assured that, despite the name error, all other information on the postcard is accurate. The property address and sewer lateral location are correct. Your property may still qualify for the sewer lateral rebate program based on this information.

Private sewer laterals convey wastewater from private property to the City’s infrastructure. Over time, these laterals deteriorate and can fail, leading to potential property damage and human and environmental health impacts.

The Sewer Lateral Rebate Program was established to provide financial assistance to property owners to inspect and replace their private sewer laterals. Rebates of up to $350 for lateral inspection, and  $4,000 for lateral replacement are available to eligible property owners for as long as the program is funded.
