Third-Party Notification Program 

The City of San Luis Obispo's Third-Party Notification Program allows you to name a third party to receive a copy of any delinquent notice when your service becomes subject to shutoff. This service is available to all residential customers, with the consent of both parties. The third party may be a relative, neighbor, friend, clergyman, social agency or whomever you designate. 

In the event that a bill is not paid, we would send a Shutoff Notice to the resident as well as their designated third party. As the designated third party, you’re not responsible for paying the bill, but you can contact us to help resolve the issue.

To enroll in this program, please fill out the form below. You can send the signed document to 879 Morro Street, San Luis Obispo, CA 93401, email us at ub@slocity.org or fax a copy to 805.781.7218
