Community members were invited to the Active Transportation Committee (ATC) meeting on January 15, 2026, to provide input on the preliminary design plans for the 2026 Paving Project, which includes upcoming improvements to select city streets. For more information, please review the ATC meeting agenda, staff report and the video recording of the meeting.

Project Overview

The 2026 Paving Project includes pavement maintenance treatments and measures intended to enhance safety for all road users (as funding allows) to the city streets shown in the map below.

 2026-Paving-Project

*Project is in preliminary planning phase.  Exact streets to be included for resurfacing and/or striping refresh in the final project are subject to change based on available funding.

These improvements will provide smoother surfaces for driving, transit, bicycling, and walking across the street. As resources allow, the project may also include safety, active transportation, and traffic calming measures as guided by the City’s Traffic Safety/Vision Zero ProgramActive Transportation Plan (ATP), and Neighborhood Traffic Management (NTM) Program.

Construction is expected to begin late summer 2026, and is expected to be complete in early 2027.  The City will make every effort to minimize inconveniences to residents and businesses during construction.
