Home MenuComplete Streets Improvements in SLO
The City's Public Works Department is working on several Complete Streets projects. A Complete Street is designed to promote safety for everyone, including people who walk, ride, drive and ride buses. Our Complete Streets projects on Higuera Street and Foothill Boulevard support safer streets for all.
These projects are part of the City's support of the Vision Zero Program and its Active Transportation Plan. These projects will help us reach our goal of having no traffic deaths or serious injuries and will advance the City’s climate and transportation goals.
