In 1990, Congress passed the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and required that all public agencies review and develop a transition plan to correct any accessibility issues. The City has periodically performed these self-assessments and developed the most recent transition plan, which can be viewed below.

In 2018, the City was surveyed by DAC Trak, creating a database and map of the city.
