Police Advisory Committee (PAC)

The Police Advisory Committee (PAC) is comprised of representatives from historically marginalized and/or underrepresented groups in our community who meet bi-monthly with Chief Scott and other select outreach members of the San Luis Obispo Police Department. PAC provides dedicated time for community leaders to receive valuable updates from SLOPD on current topics impacting our community. In addition, PAC provides a necessary space for thoughtful conversation where all members, voices, and opinions are valued. PAC members provide direct feedback to the police department, ask important questions, and share information on upcoming events sponsored by their individual organizations. PAC meetings provide a sounding board for police community interactions and important guidance on policy matters and approaches to serving our dynamic and diverse community by promoting communication, trust, and transparency.
