Please note, the process has changed to accommodate the families we serve.

Priority is given to families in the following order:

1) Qualifying returning families (currently enrolled, a list of qualifying families will be available at your program site or the Parks and Recreation office on March 20. Call 781-7300)
2) Incoming Kindergarten or TK Families
3) New families ( not currently enrolled, 1st-6th Grade Families)
4) All families from the previous list who missed their registration period.

For qualifying families who are currently enroll in Club STAR or Sun ‘N Fun, you will be able to register for care for 2019-20 school year at YOUR PROGRAM Site during designated hours.

KidVenture Summer Camp
Registration opens Mon. May 6 at 9:00 am
Join the adventure as this summer we travel through time! Campers are separated by the grades they are entering for most the day, but end the day together. Trekkers (entering grade 1), Venturers (entering grades 2-3), Explorers (entering grades 4-7).

Room divisions subject to change, based on enrollment.

Registration Fee: $5/week per camper
Full Time Care*: $175/week
Daily Option*: $44/day

Counselor in Training (CIT)
Join the Counselor in Training program for the ultimate summer opportunity…make a difference, be a role model, gain volunteer experience and have an unforgettable time! CITs gain valuable skills and experience working with Campers in a safe and enriching environment, while gaining knowledge from trained Camp Counselors. CITs must have completed eighth grade by June 2019 and MUST attend all mandatory trainings dates; exact days and times TBD. A two-week minimum commitment is required, with a 5-week maximum. Priority placement will be given to returning participants. All CITs will receive a shirt, certificate of completion, and join the end of summer Camp Staff celebration. All interested must submit a completed application and registration form by May 24, 2019.

Applications available online or at the Parks and Recreation Office. All programs will be closed on Thursday, July 4.

Cost: $35/one time, per CIT registration fee (FREE for returning CITs) *CITs may participate on trips, given available space.

The Youth Services Division believes that each child is unique and special! Every child is celebrated and provided tools for success in a safe and supportive environment.

Throughout the year, Youth Services offers a variety of programs for school-aged children:

Sun 'N Fun and Club STAR

Before- and After-School Programs

Sun ‘N Fun (a state-licensed drop-in program) for TK-6th graders and Club STAR (Students Taking Active Responsibility) for 3rd-6th graders are located on-campus at five elementary schools within the City: Bishop's Peak, C.L. Smith, Hawthorne, Pacheco and Sinsheimer. Daily curriculum includes a variety of developmentally appropriate indoor and outdoor activities and experiences, homework assistance, nutritional mid-morning and afternoon snacks, and group times. Enrollment is on a first-come/first-serve basis and is limited by state licensing capacity mandates.

Technology Processing Fee – 1.74% (All Front Desk Transactions)
Credit Card Fee – 2.61% (All Front Desk Credit Card Transactions)
Credit card & ECP (electronic Check Payment) Refund Fee - $0.10 cents
ECP Fee – 3.09%

Online Processing fees (Tiered pricing structure):
Program fees under $150 = 7% + $1.00
Program fees $150 - $500= 3.79% + $5.50
Program fees above $500 = 2.71% + $10.50
*Minimum Service Charge = $1.00
