The SLO Swim Center, open year-round, features an outdoor 50-meter by 25-yard Main Pool with temperature controls keeping the water between 78 and 82 degrees. A Therapy/Tot Pool is maintained at 88 degrees with depths ranging from 1 to 4 feet.

Family Water Safety Day

July 13 | 2:00-5:00pm | Free (Must attend Water Safety Program)

The City of San Luis Obispo’s Parks and Recreation department will be offering a Family Water Safety Day. The event is designed to build a safer community by providing resources on a variety of topics. Information booths will discuss how to be safe around an aquatic environment, the importance of personal flotation devices, how to safely reach and assist someone struggling in the water, and the importance of sun safety. All those who attend the 1-hour program will be invited to stay at the SLO Swim Center free of charge for a 2-hour family fun swim. This program is for adults and children, so bring your suit and towel for a day of safety and fun.

Monthly Rates and Swim Passes

Fee’s for Aqua Aerobics and Lap Swimming may be paid monthly: $45 per month for adults, $35 for youth/seniors. Booklets of 10 swim passes are available for Aqua Aerobics, lap swimming may be purchased for $27/adults, or $22.50/youth and seniors. Booklets of 10 swim passes are available for Recreational Swim and may be purchased for $37.00/adults, or $31.50/youth and seniors.

Join the 100-Mile Club

We are challenging YOU to swim 100 miles in just one calendar year! Simply keep track of the laps you swim during each workout at the SLO Swim Center, and record your yardage/mileage. Fill out a Lap Tracking Slip and receive a monthly update on your progress. This challenge is ongoing and ends Dec. 31, 2019.

When you reach 100 miles, you will receive a
FREE prize &10 FREE swim passes!
