This is a City Council approved, 2 year pilot program to allow winter evening access on the City owned trails on Cerro San Luis November through March up until 8:30pm
PERMIT SITE OPEN | EVENING USE BEGINS NOV 4
NIGHT TIME USE IS BY PERMIT ONLY AND LIMITED TO 65 INDIVIDUALS PER EVENING.
Available at slonighthikepermit.info. A permit is required between 1 hour after sunset until 8:30pm when daylight saving is not in effect (Nov-March). Fines=$561.
Biking and hiking is allowed. You are able to get your permit up to 1 week before your hike.
Rangers will be present, checking permits and educating the public on this 2 year pilot program.
