KnoxBox 8 Step Process

1. Visit KnoxBox.com, click the red BUY button (upper right), Click choose your local fire department

2. For Your Location select California

3. For Local Fire Department/Agency select "San Luis Obispo Fire Department"

4. Select "Commercial KnoxBoxes," choose the KnoxBox 3200 Black (Either recess or surface mount. Tamper switch not required)

5. For Installation Address Field enter the address where the box will be installed

6. Add to cart and buy!

7. Install the box at the approved location at a height between 5 and 6 feet above grade.

8. Call SLOFD to schedule an appointment for an inspector to meet you at the site address to install the key.
