The JHC consist of seven members, with one member from the County Historical Society, Cal Poly School of Architecture faculty, Cal Poly Department of Ornamental Horticulture faculty, and City Parks and Recreation Commission (retired Cal Poly faculty qualify for these positions). The other three members are selected at-large and must be residents and registered voters of the City. Members are appointed to four-year terms but not subject to term limits. The roster of current members, date of appointment, and date of term expiration can be reviewed on the City's Local Appointments List.
