Downtown San Luis Obispo Property-Based Business Improvement District

Consider establishing the Property and Business Improvement District known as the “Downtown San Luis Obispo Property-Based Business Improvement District” pursuant to the provisions of the Property and Business Improvement District Law of 1994 and to levy assessments. Information as to the proposed assessment is contained in the following accompanying documents: Resolution of Intention, Proposition 218 Assessment Ballot, and Assessment Ballot Instructions.

NOTE: The assessment shall not be imposed if the ballots submitted in opposition to the assessment exceed the ballots submitted in favor of the assessment, with ballots weighted according to the proportional financial obligation of the affected property.

All interested persons are invited to be present and be heard. Written communications may be directed to: City Council, 990 Palm Street, San Luis Obispo, CA 93401.
