The San Luis Obispo City Council invites all interested persons to attend a public hearing on Tuesday, August 18, 2026 at 5:30 p.m. in the Council Chambers at City Hall, 990 Palm Street, San Luis Obispo. Meetings may be viewed remotely by joining the Zoom webinar via the details published on the cover of the agenda, on Government Access Channel 20, or streamed live from the City’s YouTube channel at www.youtube.com/CityofSanLuisObispo. Public comment, prior to the start of the meeting, may be submitted in writing via U.S. Mail delivered to the City Clerk’s office at 990 Palm Street, San Luis Obispo, CA 93401 or by email to emailcouncil@slocity.org.

PUBLIC HEARING ITEM:

• The City Council will hold a public hearing to introduce an Ordinance amending Chapter 5.44 of the Municipal Code, the Mobile Home Park Rent Stabilization Ordinance, regarding space rent increase upon transfer (Municipal Code Section 5.44.060(C)) of mobile homes subject to existing leases, and required notice to tenants by park owners (new proposed Municipal Code Section 5.44.143). The recommended action is not a “project” under the California Environmental Quality Act, as it does not have any foreseeable impact on the environment, and it is therefore exempt from environmental review.
