Per the Brown Act, otherwise known as the State's open meeting's law, the City of San Luis Obispo is required to notify the community of certain types of public proceedings. The posting of the notices here goes beyond the State's requirements to provide community members information regarding pending official actions or hearings.

ADMINISTRATIVE ACTIONS

Applications to make minor changes to the properties at the addresses listed below have been received by the City.

  1. 655 Grove St.  DIR-0941-2025; Review of a nonconforming addition to a nonconforming structure to expand the existing accessory structure and to create a new ADU. This project is categorically exempt from environmental review (CEQA); R-1 Zone; Pasha Tabatabai, applicant.(Ethan Estrada)

  2. Broad Street between Tank Farm Road and Farmhouse Lane. DIR-0437-2026; Request to perform work at night for 30 nights between 8/10/2026 and 12/30/2026 between 7 PM and 6 AM to extend working hours for roadway sealing project to minimize traffic impacts. This project is categorically exempt from environmental review (CEQA); O-SP, BP-SP, C-S, C-S-SP, C-S-S-SP, C-S-MU-PD, C/OS, C/OS-SP zone; City of SLO, applicant.(Matthew Protzen)

The Community Development Director will either approve or deny these applications no sooner than July 27, 2026.
