DETAILS:

On Thursday, June 11, 2026, San Luis Obispo Police Department received an alarm activation report at approximately 2:00 pm at the historic Jack House at 536 Marsh. The alarm company reported motion activation on the second story. Officers arrived and as they began to check the perimeter of the building, discovered a broken window.

Officers gained entry and found the window had been smashed with a large rock. As they went up to the second floor of the house, a male fell partially through the ceiling from the attic. The male, later identified as Blake Robertson, was ordered to come down from the attic through an attic access ladder, and he was taken into custody without incident.

Robertson was taken to a local hospital for treatment of the injuries he sustained from the broken window glass and falling through the ceiling. He was then booked into San Luis Obispo County Jail for PC 459 – felony commercial burglary.
