ADMINISTRATIVE ACTIONS

Applications to make minor changes to the properties at the addresses listed below have been received by the City.

  1. Higuera St. & Madonna Rd.  DIR-0294-2026; Request to perform work at night for traffic signal work, roadway sealing, and paving work along Higuera Street, between Marsh Street and Los Osos Valley Road, and along Madonna Road, between Higuera Street and the Southbound Hwy 101 off-ramp, for a maximum of thirty (30) nights between August 3, 2026-June 30, 2027 from the hours of 7:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. This project is categorically exempt from environmental review (CEQA); C/OS, R-1-PD, R-2, R-2-S, O-PD, C-C, C-R-MU, C-T-MU, C-T-S, C-S, C-S-S, C-S-SP-PD, C-S-MU, C-S-SP, C-S-PD, M-SP, and PF Zones; City of SLO, applicant.(Naomi Wilbur)

  2. Islay St. & Osos St. Intersection.  DIR-0295-2026; Request to extend night working hours for a sewer replacement project to minimize impacts to the community to install a new sewer main at the intersection of Islay Street and Osos Street, for a maximum of 30 nights between July 13, 2026 to January 13, 2027, from the hours of 7:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. This project is categorically exempt from environmental review (CEQA); R-2-H and R-3-H Zones; City of SLO, applicant.(Jacob Hughes)

  3. California – Taft – Mill.  DIR-0293-2026; Request to perform work at night to install a new 16” water transmission main on California Blvd between Taft and Mill Streets for a maximum of thirty (30) nights between June 27, 2026-March 26, 2027, from the hours of 7:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. This project is categorically exempt from environmental review (CEQA); O, C-N Zone; City of SLO, applicant.(Naomi Wilbur)

  4. Broad St. & Industrial Way Intersection .  DIR-0277-2026; Request to perform work at night for a maximum of five (5) nights to repair utility core drills in the asphalt at the intersection of Broad Street and Industrial Way between June 15, 2026 to June 19, 2026 from the hours of 12:00 a.m. to 6:00 a.m. This project is categorically exempt from environmental review (CEQA); PF, C-S-S, C-C, and BP-SP Zones; Turn Around Communications, applicant.(Jacob Hughes)

  5. 4035 Box Spring Rd.  DIR-0012-2026; Review of a Homestay Rental application to allow short-term rental (such as Airbnb) of four bedrooms within an owner-occupied residence. This project is categorically exempt from environmental review (CEQA); R-1-SP Zone; Susan Ropacki, applicant.(Mallory Patino)

  6. 600 Hopkins Ln.  SBDV-0924-2025 Lot line adjustment between two parcels of approximately 158 acres and 30 acres, resulting in one parcel of 17.14 acres (proposed Parcel 1) and one parcel of 173.46 acres (proposed Parcel 2). The project is categorically exempt from environmental review (CEQA); R-1-SP, R-2-SP, C/OS-SP, C/OS-40-SP and PF-SP Zones; Debbie Garcia and David Bjerre, applicants.(Ivana Gomez)

The Community Development Director will either approve or deny these applications no sooner than June 8, 2026.
