Planning a visit to the City of SLO’s Community Development (CDD) front counter? Starting Monday, April 13, the department’s walk‑in service hours are getting an update to better serve community members. The new schedule is designed to simplify public counter availability, align with County of San Luis Obispo Building and Planning walk‑in hours, and provide dedicated time for afternoon appointments with community members. 

Starting April 13, CDD’s walk‑in hours will be:
Monday–Thursday 
9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. 

Outside of walk‑in hours, staff will continue to support the community through scheduled appointments, email, and phone assistance.

 These changes will help: 

• Simplify the public counter schedule
• Align walk‑in hours with SLO County Building and Planning 
• Provide dedicated time each afternoon for appointments and project support
