Per the Brown Act, otherwise known as the State's open meeting's law, the City of San Luis Obispo is required to notify the community of certain types of public proceedings. The posting of the notices here goes beyond the State's requirements to provide community members information regarding pending official actions or hearings.

ADMINISTRATIVE ACTIONS

Applications to make minor changes to the properties at the addresses listed below have been received by the City.

  1. 2306 Santa Ynez Ave.  DIR-0008-2026; Review of a Homestay application to allow short-term rental (such as Airbnb) of detached guest quarters of an owner-occupied residence. This project is categorically exempt from environmental review (CEQA); R-1-S Zone; Renata Watts, applicant.(Mallory Patino)

  2. 483 Sandercock St.  DIR-0014-2026; Request to perform work for a maximum of one (1) night between March 1-June 30, 2026 from the hours of 9:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. for installation of poles, transformer, cable and minor equipment, and to remove one pole. This project is categorically exempt from environmental review (CEQA); R-2 Zone; PG&E, applicant.(Mallory Patino)

The Community Development Director will either approve or deny these applications no sooner than February 23, 2026.
