ADMINISTRATIVE PERMIT PUBLIC HEARING
The City of San Luis Obispo's Zoning Hearing Officer will hold a public hearing at 2:30 p.m. or later on Monday, January 26, 2026, in Conference Room 1, at 919 Palm Street, to consider the following:
- 1235 and 1239 Monterey St. ARCH-0746-2024, AFFH-0176-2025, USE-0177-2025, and TREE-0907-2025; Review of a mixed-use development consisting of 12 residential units (including 2 affordable units), hotel suites, a sign program, tree removal and replanting, and site improvements. The project includes a 25% density bonus and associated parking concession and rear building setback reduction. A Minor Use Permit is requested to establish a hotel use that would operate daily, 24 hours a day. A fence height exception is also requested to allow a combined retaining wall and fence height of up to 10 feet along the rear property line.
