Applications to make minor changes to the properties at the addresses listed below have been received by the City.
- 1731 Tanglewood Dr. DIR-0910-2025; Request for a fence height exception for a retaining wall and wooden fence adjacent to the eastern side property line where the combined height exceeds height standards for side and front setbacks. The requested retaining wall and fence combination ranges in height from 5.5 feet to 9 feet, measured from the downhill side of the sloped lot, where the minimum standard ranges from 4.8 feet to 6 feet. - 778 Toro St. DIR-0127-2025; Request for an exception from setback standards for an Accessory Dwelling Unit (ADU) to reduce the side setback to 2 feet and reduce the rear setback to 3 feet, where 4 feet is the standard minimum setback for ADUs up to 16 feet in height. The exception is requested to expand a nonconforming guest house to create an ADU in the rear of a property that is substandard with regards to minimum lot size. - 629 Mission Ln; 205, 207, and 217 Broad St. SBDV-0570-2023; Lot line adjustment between four (4) lots (categorically exempt from CEQA environmental review).; R-1 Zone; Richard Silva, applicant.(Walter Oetzell)
- 137 and 175 Crandall Way. ARCH-0364-2025, AFFH-0366-2025, and TREE-0368-2025; Review of a residential development consisting of 43 units (which includes 5 affordable units), a sign program, tree removals and compensatory plantings, and site improvements. The project includes a 50% density bonus and associated concessions/waivers/reductions related to compensatory plantings, parking space dimensions, and building height and setbacks. A fence height exception is also requested to allow a combined retaining wall and guardrail height of up to 11.25 feet along a portion of the southerly property lines. - 1221 Calle Joaquin Way. MOD-0982-2025; Request for a modification to a previously approved minor architectural review (ARCH-0653-2023) to allow changes to the architectural design of the approved structure. The proposed agricultural structure is a 2000 square foot pole barn which would be utilized for storage and wash/pack operations at City Farm. The Community Development Director will either approve or deny these applications no sooner than January 26, 2026.
The Director's decision may be appealed, and must be filed with the appropriate appeal fee within 10 days of the Director's action.
