In order to further reduce the risk of community spread of COVID-19 in our community, the City of San Luis Obispo is announcing temporary, precautionary changes to City facilities and operations that will help to protect the public and City employees.
Effective Monday, March 16, City Facilities including the Damon-Garcia Sports Complex, all diamond sport fields, other turf fields and facilities will be closed to all youth and adult sport programs, group play, drop-in play and permitted programs through the end of March, or until such time that appropriate measures are in place to ensure public health and safety.
The Parks and Recreation Department has a variety of facilities for an abundance of recreational uses. These facilities provide excellent locations for parties, meetings, weddings and receptions, recreation, and community enjoyment.
