Terrace Hill Community Picnic & Celebration of 30th Anniversary of the Greenbelt

Gather for a community picnic at scenic Terrace Hill Open Space. Walk up to the top of the hill with your family and friends for a simple celebration of the 30th Anniversary of the San Luis Obispo Greenbelt. Terrace Hill is a gem because it offers incredible views of San Luis Obispo only a short walk from the street. Please bring your own picnic blanket and any food and refreshments you’d like to enjoy while we watch the sunset together as a community.

Trailhead access is located on Rachel St and Bishop St. As parking is limited around Terrace Hill, please do your best to walk, bike, or carpool. If you have accessibility needs and would benefit from a ride to top of the hill, please reach out to Ranger Services at (805) 781-7302, we’d love to help you!

Note: please remember that alcohol, amplified music, and off-leash dogs are not allowed in Open Space.
