CITATION REVIEW PROCESS
Timeline: To
contest a citation you must submit your request in writing. The request
for citation review must be received within 21 calendar
days of receiving the citation or within 14 calendar days of receiving
the delinquent notice.
Contest your parking
citation by completing the Request for Citation Review online and submit
via email. (citeappeal@slocity.org)

receiving and/or submitting the form are listed below:
In Person: Our
office is located at 1260 Chorro Street, Suite B, San Luis Obispo; hours
8 am - 5 pm Monday - Friday.
By Mail: City of
San Luis Obispo Parking Services, 1260 Chorro Street, Suite B, San Luis

By Fax: 805-781-7267
You may include any photos
and/or other documentation to assist in your appeal.
Upon receiving the
completed request for citation review form, within the timeline stated
above, the citation will be placed on “hold” during the review process.
Decisions will be sent by mail to the address on the citation review
form.
If the citation is upheld,
the person will have 21 days from the date the decision is mailed to pay
the citation and/or request a hearing.
If the citation is
dismissed, the file is closed and no monies are due.
