What a spectacular view of the valley.

Ahhh. What a great place to take the kids, friends, or even a date, and have a picnic. This is just shy of the halfway point and there is a slight breeze coming from the ocean to cool us off.

Back on our way. What a stupendous view of the Morros.

There are a lot of rock formations found out here at Bishop Peak. This area certainly has a tranquil feel to it.

This part of Bishop Peak has become extremely ugly because of all of the shortcutters. Staying on the designated trails is important for not only the hiker’s safety, but for the wildlife and resources as well. Take the extra seconds to stay on the trail and you might be surprised at the different views you can enjoy.
