The Parks & Recreation Department has several projects and programs underway in the 2007-2008 fiscal year:

• Design and construction to begin on playground renovations at Laguna Lake and French Park.

• Installation of the therapy pool adjacent to SLO Swim Center at Sinsheimer Park is now complete

• Improvements to Stockton Field at Sinsheimer Park has been completed

• Planning is underway for revisions to the Santa Rosa Park multi-use court to expand for roller hockey needs

• Changes to the skate park at Santa Rosa Park will be evaluated this spring

• The Laguna Lake Golf Course has several projects underway: Hole #3 renovation, irrigation control system upgrades, Hole #6 bridge and hole restoration, pro shop roof replacement, and use of recycled water to irrigate the golf course.
