Senior Center
Come by the San Luis Obispo Senior Center to join in the clubs, services, and fun. All activities listed below take place at the Senior Center unless otherwise noted. For more information please contact Dave Setterlund, Community Services Specialist, at 781-7067.

Monday – Friday, 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m

Membership
Membership: $10 per year (Open to City residents 55+)

All members receive a monthly newsletter, access to the Senior Center during hours of operation, free coffee at the center and first chance to sign-up for the recreation programs below.

Recreation Programs

Bingo
Win big with Bingo at the Senior Center.

Bridge, Duplicate Bridge and "All Comers" Bridge

Enjoy the mental stimulation and camaraderie of this classic card game. Call 781-7306 for specific game times and days.

Computer Partners
Learn the basics of computer operation in this user-friendly class. Call 781-7306 to register.

Exercise Class
Chair exercises and gentle stretching keep muscles active and strong.

Senior Cinema

Visit the Senior Center for a monthly screening of new and classic films.

Senior Information Series
Local professionals present topics pertinent to active adults and seniors.

Yoga

This class focuses on “restorative” poses and is very low impact; perfect for people of all abilities.

Clubs/Groups

Executive Board Meeting

Representatives from user groups at the center as well as the general public are all encouraged to attend. To be placed on the agenda call the Senior Center at 781-7306 several days prior to the meeting.

Brown Bag Program

Bags of groceries are distributed at the Senior Center and available for low income seniors in the City of SLO. Recipients must show proof of residency. Call 238-4664.

Legal Service
