Indoor
Buildings and/or Conference Rooms
All
persons wishing to reserve a city-owned building or conference room can
click here and reserve your facility with our new on-line
registration system! Please note: a new account must be
established before using the system; your user name and password under
the old system are no longer valid. If you have additional
questions about facilities, please contact the

no more than 3 months in advance of the event. The permit can be obtained by
the on-line registration system or a telephone
interview with the reservation desk, after which the permit will be mailed to you. All
permits must be signed and returned with all applicable fees no later than 5 working days
prior to the event.
Outdoor Park Usage
All persons wishing
to reserve a city-owned park facility can
click here and reserve your facility with our new on-line
registration system! Please note: a new account must be
established before using the system; your user name and password under
the old system are no longer valid. If you have additional
questions about facilities, please contact the Parks & Recreation
Department

All parks located within the city
limits are available to the public for reservation. Facilities include barbeques,
sand volleyball courts, basketball courts, softball fields, general park use
and spaces for bounce houses. Fees are
based on the facility requested.

Reservations can be made no less than five working days prior to the
event, and no more than three months in advance of the event (with
the exception of the Jack House). The permit can be obtained by
the on-line registration system or a
telephone interview with the reservation desk, after which the permit will be mailed to
you. All permits must be signed and returned with all applicable fees no later than 5
working days prior to the event.
Banner Permits
All
persons wishing to advertise their sponsored event by hanging a banner in the downtown
area, should obtain a
Banner Permit Application from
the Parks & Recreation Department or download a pdf file from our site. There are
currently two banner locations in downtown San Luis Obispo: 1) Higuera Street at Chorro
Street intersection and 2) Marsh Street at Carmel Street intersection.

The requirements for displaying a
banner are as follows:

To announce an event held on public
property within the city limits
-
To provide the name, location, date and
time of event, and an information number to contact

May not include logos for commercial
venues (i.e. Coca Cola, Power Bar, etc.)

Must be no larger than 4' x 24'
The application fee
($162.00 plus a $7.25 permit processing fee) must
be submitted with the application to confirm your reservation.
