This segment of the Bob Jones Bike Trail in San Luis Obispo DOES NOT connect through to Avila Beach and dead ends after 0.8 miles. It is undetermined at this time as to when the two trails will be connected.

From the South: Traveling north on US 101, exit Prado Road /Elks Lane. Turn right at the stop sign at the end of the off ramp. Proceed approximately one mile and trail entrance is tucked away on the right just after a fueling station

From the North: Traveling south on South Higuera, turn right onto Prado Road. After quickly crossing a small bridge, trail is on the left tucked way near a fueling station.
