you receive my online application?
A: A
confirmation e-mail is automatically sent confirming receipt of your
application once submitted. If you receive a confirmation e-mail, then
we have received your application and no further action is necessary on
your part until we contact you. Be sure to check your spam folder.
Q: I
applied online and haven't heard back from you yet. When will I hear
about the next step in the process?
A. If you are
selected for an interview, we will call you. If you are eliminated from
the process, you will receive an e-mail. Either way, you will be
contacted, typically within 3-4 weeks of applying. Be sure to
check your spam folder.
Q:
Is the
City of San Luis Obispo recruiting for the position of Police Officer?
A:
We recruit only on an as needed basis. Eligibility lists are good for
one year. If there is a position available, it will be posted on the job
openings page of our website.
