Friday Night Skate
While the lights are on every night until 10 pm it’s the first Fridays that are the most fun. The first Friday of every summer month (June to August) will have Music till 9 pm. Protective gear required while skating. Rules and Regulations listed on City website and posted at the skate park are enforced by the SLO Police Department. Summer Skate Clinic
Skate Clinics are designed to help beginner and intermediate skaters learn new skills and utilize skate park terrain in a safe and supervised environment. This class combines beginner and intermediate skill levels and will focus on proper stance, balance, park etiquette, and introductory to intermediate level skills. Required: helmet, knee and elbow pads, athletic shoes, sunscreen and water. Note: Child should have a good rolling, proper sized skateboard. Longboards and Penny boards are difficult to teach skate park skills on

Ramp ’N’ Roll

The Ramp ’N ’Roll is a free family friendly event to introduce young skaters to the SLO Skate Park with music, games, and giveaways.

WALKING & BIKINGWALKING & BIKING FROM CAL POLY
Cal Poly Students can make their way to the Skate Park from campus by heading down Foothill Boulevard towards Santa Rosa Street. Upon hitting Santa Rosa Street, turn left and go 0.4 miles, then turn left on Oak Street and the destination will be on the left.
From Cal Poly
Students may take the Route 6A bus from Kennedy Library, exiting at Casa and Murray. From the bus stop, walk south down Casa Street towards the back entrance of Santa Rosa Park.
FROM THE US 101
From the US 101 South, merge onto Olive St/CA 1 via EXIT 203A toward Santa Rosa Street. Turn left onto Santa Rosa St. Santa Rosa Park will be on your right.
From the US-101 North, merge onto Osos St/CA 1 via EXIT 203A. Turn left onto Walnut St/CA 1. Take first left onto Santa Rosa Street. Santa Rosa Park will be on your right.
