Notice is hereby given that the City of San Luis Obispo will receive sealed bids at the Public Works Department, 955 Morro Street, San Luis Obispo, CA 93401, until THURSDAY, NOVEMBER 17, 2005 AT 3:00 PM at which time they will be opened publicly in the Public Works Conference Room, 955 Morro Street, San Luis Obispo, CA 93401.

Pre-bid walk-through will be held on THURSDAY, NOVEMBER 10, 2005 AT 10 AM at the PARKING LOT NEXT TO THE WEST BALLFIELD, San Luis Obispo, CA. Bidders are encouraged to attend to view site conditions and will be given an opportunity to ask questions. The walk-through IS NOT mandatory.

Bids received after said time and date will not be considered. To guard against premature opening, each bid shall be submitted to the Public Works Department in a sealed envelope plainly marked with the bid title, specification number, bidder name, and time and date of the bid opening.

Every bid must be accompanied by a certified check/cashier's check or bidder's bond for 10% of the bid amount, payable to the City of San Luis Obispo.

The Contractor must possess a valid Class Class A or C10 Contractor's License at the time of the bid opening.

The City of San Luis Obispo reserves the right to accept such bids as may be deemed most advantageous to the City, the right to waive any informality in a bid, and the further right to reject any and all bids.

Bid packages and City Standard Specifications may be obtained by downloading below or: Bid packages may be obtained at the Public Works Department for a non-refundable fee of $35.00 in person, or $55.00 if mailed. City Standard Specifications and Engineering Standards may be obtained free by downloading below or at the Public Works Department for a non-refundable fee of $16.00 in person, or $21.00 if mailed. Credit cards are accepted. Specifications and/or City Standard Specifications and Engineering Standards will be mailed upon receipt of check or credit card payment. Please include your company name, street address, phone, fax, contact person, and email address, along with the name and specification number of the project you are requesting.
