Request a Commercial Property

One of the primary tasks of the City of San Luis Obispo’s Economic Development Program is to help new and existing businesses find sites for their businesses. We work closely with the local real estate brokerage community, property owners, and developers to help you find existing buildings or developable property for your business.

Because we want to make your site selection as simple as possible, please include the following information in your email request: contact name, company name, complete address, phone number, email, business type, approximate square footage needed, number of employees, preferred location, preferred building type, lease terms desired, special utility requests, proposed timetable, and any other information pertinent to your business needs.  We’ll try and match your request with available sites in our community.

It is important to note that completed forms are emailed only to the City’s Economic Development Manager, Claire Clark. Unless indicated otherwise, this information remains confidential. We will fax the general needs indicated to our local real estate brokers. If they have properties that match your needs, we will give you the information about the properties and the local brokers handling them. Then, if you choose, you can contact the brokers directly.
