How can City economic development help you?

Every two years, the community's top budget priorities are identified through a robust public participation process. After hearing from the public at the Community Forum, via the Community Budget Bulletin Survey, and through its advisory bodies, the City Council identifies the Major City Goals for the upcoming two-year financial planning period, beginning July 1, 2011.

 

Many business owners participated in the January 11th Community Forum. Representatives of the business community emphasized a desire for the City to expand economic development efforts. With this input in mind, Council set Economic Development as one of the highest priority goals for the 2011-13 Financial Plan.

 

Now we are in the process of developing a work program for the Economic Development Major City Goal, and your input is welcome.
