CALL TO ORDER/PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE
Commissioners Michael Draze, John Larson, Airlin Singewald, Charles
Stevenson, Vice-Chairperson Mary Whittlesey, and Chairperson Michael
Commissioner Meyer was absent.
ACCEPTANCE OF AGENDA:
Accepted as presented.
Minutes of September 28, 2011, were approved as amended.
GPA 77-10: Amendments to the Safety Element of the General Plan to
update the fire hazard map and revise the text to be consistent with
State Fire Standards; City of San Luis Obispo – Community
Development Department, applicant. (Phil
Staff recommended the Planning Commission continue the item to the
December 14, 2011, meeting so that the City Attorney's office could
explore potential conflict of interest issues of Commissioners and
staff with the Fair Political Practices Commission.
Moved by Stevenson/Whittlesey to continue the item to December 14,
2011, at 6:00 p.m., so that the City Attorney's office could explore
potential conflict of interest issues of Commissioners and staff
with the Fair Political Practices Commission (6:0).
COMMENT AND DISCUSSION:
Forecast – Staff informed the Commission that the October 26th
meeting was cancelled and provided an update for items coming to the
November 9th and December 14th Commission
The meeting adjourned at 6:20 p.m.

documents provided to a majority of the Planning Commission
regarding any item on this agenda will be made available for public
inspection in the Community Development, 919 Palm Street, during
normal business hours.
