CALL TO ORDER/PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE

ACCEPTANCE OF AGENDA:
The agenda was accepted as presented.
PUBLIC COMMENT:
No
comments were made by the public.
PUBLIC HEARINGS:
1. 1050
Southwood Drive.
ER/GP/R 177-08: Environmental Review and General Plan Map Amendment
from Manufacturing and Services to Office and zone change from M-PD
to O; Michael Cannon, applicant. (Pam
Ricci)
Senior Planner Pam Ricci presented the staff report and recommended
approval of the project. The zone change recognizes the antiquated
existing zoning and long-term use of the property as offices.
The Commission had a few questions regarding traffic and parking.
Mike Cannon, applicant, spoke in support of the project and
described to the Commission the improvements they have made to the
building, parking lot, and landscaping.
On
motion by Commissioner Draze, seconded by Commissioner Whittlesey,
the Commission voted 6:0 to recommend approval to the City Council
of the General Plan Amendment and Zone Change.

Community Development Department Work Program
Community Development Director John Mandeville
presented the Community Development Department’s two-year work
program.

Agenda
Forecast
Deputy Director Doug Davidson provided the agenda
forecast.
Deputy Director Kim Murry provided a copy of the
General Plan Annual Report staff report to the Council and described
how the Planning Commission’s recommendation was being carried
forward.
3.
Commission
Chairperson Stevenson praised Vice-Chairperson Multari for his
testimony to the City Council on the Prefumo Creek Commons project.
