Project Applicant, George Garcia, presented a PowerPoint presentation providing a background of design concepts and the intent that the project be consistent with the SBSCP. The Commission discussed proposed changes to the table of allowed uses and how it would likely not be in effect very long once the SBSCP is adopted. The Commission had concerns that restaurant uses may exceed available parking and placed a condition on the use table (Exhibit A) that restaurants will require Director’s Approval if parking exceeds the equivalent of 1 parking space per 300 square feet.
