CALL TO ORDER/PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE

ACCEPTANCE OF AGENDA:
Agenda was accepted.
Minutes of July 27, 2011, were accepted as presented.
1965, & 1977 Santa Barbara Avenue.
U 137-10: Request to allow mixed-use project in the
Service-Commercial zone; C-S-H zone; Quaglino Properties, LLC,
applicant. (Brian Leveille)
Adopt the resolution approving the mixed-use project based on
findings and subject to conditions.
Moved by Stevenson/Draze to approve the project as recommended by
U 74-11: Request to allow elementary and junior high school at
First Baptist Church; R-2 zone; SLO Christian School, applicant.
Adopt a resolution approving the use permit.
Moved by Stevenson/Meyer to approve the use permit for the proposed
elementary and junior high school based on findings and modified
conditions of approval (7:0).
COMMENT AND DISCUSSION:
Forecast – Doug Davidson provided the agenda forecast.
The Commission discussed the Sunny Acres General Plan Conformity
project and decided not to send a representative to the Council
hearing on August 16th.
