PRESENTATION/DISCUSSION

1.   Citywide.  A presentation on “Form Based Planning Principles and how they may be used in the City of San Luis Obispo. (1 hour)

Community Development Director John Mandeville spoke to the Commissions about the City’s goals related to form-based zoning, provided some background on recent legislative changes that affect such codes, and introduced the speaker, Paul Crawford.

Paul Crawford, Crawford Multari & Clark Associates, gave a PowerPoint presentation to the Planning Commission and Architectural Review Commission on form based zoning codes. Mr. Crawford responded to questions from Commissioners on how these codes would relate to San Luis Obispo.

ADJOURN to a regular meeting of the Planning Commission scheduled for Wednesday, February 9, 2005, at 7:00 p.m., in the Council Chamber of City Hall, 990 Palm Street; and to a regular meeting of the Architectural Review Commission scheduled for Tuesday, February 22, 2005, in the Council Hearing Room of City Hall, 990 Palm Street.
