PUBLIC COMMENT:
None
PUBLIC HEARINGS:
1. 1119,
1123, 1127, 1129, & 1137 Garden Street and 712, 720, 748, 736, 722,
& 728 Marsh Street.
ER 124-06: Introduce project redesign and Final Environmental
Impact Report; C-D-H zone; Garden Street SLO Partners, LP,
applicant. (Tyler Corey)
Tyler Corey, Associate Planner,
presented the revised project description and Final EIR,
recommending the Commission receive staff and applicant
presentations and public comments on project redesign and Final EIR.
Dan Gira, EIR Consultant, presented the
Final EIR organization and changes made to the document since the
draft version. Carol Florence, applicant representative, and George
Garcia, applicant architect, provided a more detailed presentation
of the revised project.
Six individuals spoke during the hearing and were complimentary to
the content and conclusions of the Final EIR.
The Commission was also complimentary to the content
of the Final EIR and asked several clarification questions regarding
the analysis contained in the document.
RECOMMENDATION:
Continue the item to a date certain:
February 24, 2010.
ACTION:
On
motion by Vice-Chair Multari, seconded by Commr. Singewald, the
Commission, on a 7:0 vote, continued the item to a date certain of
February 24, 2010.

Deputy Director Davidson provided the forecast.
3. Commission
–
Commissioner Boswell suggested an upcoming study session on
greenhouse gas emissions and the new CEQA Guidelines.
