ACCEPTANCE OF AGENDA:  Agenda accepted

MINUTES:  Minutes of January 9, 2008.  Approved as amended.

PUBLIC COMMENT:  None

PUBLIC HEARINGS:

1.        783 & 785 High & 2015 Santa Barbara Street.  U 100-07:  To allow a mixed-use project (commercial/residential) in the Railroad Historic District; C-S-H, Sally Quaglino, applicant.  (Tyler Corey)

Tyler Corey described the project and presented the staff recommendation to approve the project.  Mike Peachey, project architect, stated that he was in support of the staff report and hoped the Commission would approve the project.  The project had received favorable recommendations from both the CHC and ARC.

The Commissioners all complimented and supported the project.  The project upholds the Railroad District Plan and General Plan policies and is a good example of mixed-use, workforce housing.
