Affordable Housing Standards

 For April 2008 through April 2009

“Affordable” is a term that’s bandied about a lot these days, but what does it mean?  In San Luis Obispo, affordability is defined by standards published by the City and updated annually to reflect changes to the County’s median income level.  The standards explain what is meant by “very-low, low, and moderate income”, and set maximum rent and sales costs for affordable housing.  For more information, refer to the pdf Affordable Housing Standards.
