NEW FEE SCHEDULE - EFFECTIVE SEPTEMBER 1, 2009
Planning Services Fee Schedule -

The following fees and charges for planning services were approved by City Council Resolution on May 2, 1995, went into effect on August 28, 1995, and are adjusted annually, each September 1st, to reflect changes in the Consumer Price index.
New fees effective September 1, 2009

Zoning Services

  • Sidewalk Sales Permit  $109.00
  • Pre- Application Review $500.00
  • Pre-Application w/ site check $1,000.00
  • Home Occupation Permit  $126.00
  • Administrative Use Permit  $781.00
  •     High Occupancy Residential Use Permit

  •     Sidewalk Cafe Use Permit

  •     Creek Setback Exception Use Permit

  •     Nightclub Use Permit

To finalize planning projects, there may be additional development review fees for planning services that will be collected at the time of building permit issuance.

Subdivision Services

  • Lot Line Adjustment  $1,355.00
  • Tentative Subdivision Map
       4 or less lots (parcel map)  $6,328.00
       5 or more lots   (tract map) $8204.00 + $209.00/Lot
  • Certificate of Compliance  $1,474.00 (+ recording fees)
  • Time Extension/Modification  25% of current filing fee

To finalize subdivision projects, there may be additional Engineering Fees. Please check with that department at 781-7200

Other Planning Services

  • Environmental Impact Determination   $2,341.00 (Includes a $25 County Filing fee) Projects may be subject to $1,800 fish and game fees.
