PUBLIC COMMENT:
At this time, people may address the committee about items not on the
agenda. Items raised are generally referred to the staff and, if
action by the committee is necessary, may be scheduled for a future
meeting.
The action of the CHC is typically a recommendation to another
advisory body or City Council and therefore, is not final and cannot
be appealed. However, actions pertaining to historic significance
are final
unless appealed to the City Council within 10 days of the action. Any
person aggrieved by a decision of the Committee may file an appeal
with the City Clerk. Appeal forms are available in the City Clerk’s
office, or on the City’s website (slocity.org). The fee for filing an
appeal is $100, and must accompany the appeal documentation.
