Cultural Heritage Committee Meeting Update

July 29, 2013                                Monday                                           5:30 p.m.

ROLL CALL:      Committee Members Sandy Baer, Thom Brajkovich, Jaime Hill, Patti Taylor, Victoria Wood, Vice-Chair Hemalata Dandekar, and Chair Bob Pavlik

STAFF:                Phil Dunsmore, Senior Planner

PUBLIC COMMENT:  At this time, people may address the Committee about items not on the agenda.  Items raised are generally referred to staff and, if action by the Committee is necessary, may be scheduled for a future meeting.

The action of the CHC is a recommendation to the Community Development Director, another advisory body, or City Council and, therefore, is not final and cannot be appealed.

ACCEPTANCE OF AGENDA:  Committee or staff may modify the order of items.


1.   979 Osos Street.  ARCMI 88-13; Review of replacement staircase on the rear of the Master List Andrews Building; C-D-H zone; Vintage Properties, applicant.  (Marcus Carloni)

2.   729 Pismo Street.  ARCMI 99-13; Review of reconstruction of a fire-damaged Contributing historic resource; O-H zone; Bud Trask, Smith and Sons, applicant. (Brian Leveille)

3.   276 Tank Farm Road.  ER 92-08; Review of the Environmental Impact Report work program to evaluate cultural resources that may be discovered as part of the Chevron remediation and development project; Chevron Corporation, applicant.  (Phil Dunsmore)
