Los Osos Valley Road and Highway 101 interchange; City of San Luis

Approve a lighting scheme and bridge colors.

No. 3 with two-headed black Mission bell fixtures (like those used at
Prefumo Creek Commons) and black sconces in a complementary design and a
tan color (Napa Color 34 W) for upper bridge elements above the
Vice-Chair McCovey-Good recused herself from participating in the
discussion of Item #2 because of a potential conflict of interest.
ARC-C 59-12; Conceptual review of a development plan for Sesloc Credit
Union; BP-SP zone; Sesloc Federal Credit Union, applicant.
Continue the project to a date uncertain with directional items to be
addressed in plans submitted for final approval.

Submit complete plans with all of the required information on the City's
checklist for final architectural approval.
Submit a more refined landscaping plan that addresses the following:
Larger tree species as street trees along the Broad Street corridor
Additional peninsular planters in parking lot areas to more closely
comply with the City's Parking & Driveway Standards
A legend with symbols and sizes of plant materials and locations of
proposed trees, shrubs, and groundcovers
Callouts of proposed hardscape surfaces
Details of fencing proposals
Provide additional information in plans about sustainable project
Clarify drainage proposals including the detention basin and bio-swales.
Include detailed information on project signage, trash enclosures,
lighting, bike parking, location of backflow prevention devices, and
screening of mechanical equipment.
If a separate ATM kiosk is pursued, plans shall include a location and
details of the improvements.
Final plans shall include information on where convenient bus stops to
serve the site are located.
ARC 22-12; Review of updates to the Community Design Guidelines
regarding storm water programs; City of San Luis Obispo – Community
Development Department, applicant. (Pam Ricci)
Adopt the Draft Resolution, which approves the recommended changes and
additions to the Community Design Guidelines, based on findings.

resolution with minor wording changes to various guideline amendments

a. Agenda Forecast – Pam Ricci provided a forecast for upcoming
Commission agreed to cancel the meeting of September 10th
since there were no projects ready for review on that date.
