ACCEPTANCE OF AGENDA:
Agenda was accepted.
Minutes of June 18, 2012 - were approved.
There was no public comment other than on regular agenda items.
ARC-S 41-12; Review of a wall sign and 12-foot tall pole sign for Quiky
Carwash; C-S-S zone; Westpac, applicant.
Continue to a date certain of August 6, 2012, to allow staff further
time to coordinate with the applicant on the sign proposals.

a date certain of August 6, 2012 (6:0).
ARC 11-12; Continued consideration of architectural design review of the
Los Osos Valley Road and Highway 101 interchange; City of San Luis
Obispo – Public Works Dept., applicant. (Peggy
Adopt the Draft Resolution, which grants final approval to the project,
based on findings, and subject to conditions.
by Vice-Chair McCovey-Good, seconded by Commr. Wynn, to grant final
approval to the project with modifications to Conditions 2, 3, & 4 as
follows: 2. Bridge lighting fixture(s) and colors shall return to the
ARC for approval on a date certain of August 20, 2012. 3. Increase the
length of the two architectural abutment features. Add four pilasters
between those depicted on the visual simulation attached to the staff
report. Modify the arches in both the architectural abutment and bridge
features to have a more substantial recess to provide more definition
and shadow. 4. Project plans shall utilize the simplified railing
detail provided at the meeting. (6:0).
COMMENT & DISCUSSION:

for upcoming agendas.
Staff responded to questions regarding the status of various projects.
