Froom Ranch Specific Plan
On January 24, 2018 the Planning Commission will receive an introductory presentation regarding an overview of the proposed Froom Ranch Specific Plan and provide preliminary feedback regarding land use, zoning, and development standards, conservation/open space, and circulation related issues, as well as questions posed by the applicant team (JM Development Group, Inc and Villaggio and applicant representatives from RRM Design Group). The Planning Commission will also receive any public comment on the Specific Plan, specific to the following chapters: Land Use/Zoning/Development Standards; Conservation/Open Space/Recreation; and Circulation. The Planning Commission Agenda and Froom Ranch Specific Plan Agenda Report are available for view here: https://www.slocity.org/government/advisory-bodies/agendas-and-minutes/planning-commission.
The January 24th introductory presentation is one of the initial steps in the Specific Plan process and is intended to allow for preliminary comments from the Planning Commission and the public, which will inform further development and analysis of the Specific Plan. No final decisions will be made at this introductory hearing. Future steps in the process will include preparation and circulation of an Environmental Impact Report (EIR) and several additional advisory body and City Council hearings on the Specific Plan and environmental document.
