Broad Street Bicycle Boulevard - Final Survey

Final alternatives survey due 1/16/2018

Post Date:12/21/2017
The City of San Luis Obispo is requesting community input regarding the Broad Street Bicycle Boulevard Plan—a transportation project intended to develop a safe, low-stress route for bicyclists and pedestrians connecting the Downtown north to Foothill Boulevard. Over the past year, the City has explored design concepts for the project based on input from the community and City Council. In early 2018, the City Bicycle Advisory Committee (January 18th) and City Council (February 6th) will be considering the Final Plan for the bikeway. In advance of these hearings, staff is conducting informal surveys to gauge community support for two refined alternatives presented for the Northern Segment (Lincoln Street to Foothill Boulevard). An online survey is available for community wide participation, while a mail-in survey will be sent out this week to residents living within the vicinity of the project. This is not a vote to determine a final decision. Surveys are due 1/16/2018.
