Planning Commission to review San Luis Ranch Specific Plan

Post Date:05/19/2017 10:13 AM

The Planning Commission will be reviewing the San Luis Ranch Specific Plan on Wednesday, May 24th and Thursday, May 25th. The Commission will review various components of the plan and related entitlements including the Final Environmental Impact Report (FEIR), General Plan Amendment/Pre-zoning, Development Plan/Vesting Tentative Tract Map, and Annexation.

The San Luis Ranch Specific Plan is intended to implement General Plan objectives for this identified expansion area as part of the 2014 Land Use and Circulation Element (LUCE) update. Development plans for the area include up to 580 residential units, 200,000 square feet of commercial development, 150,000 square feet of office development, a 200-room hotel, and portions of the site to remain for agriculture and open space. Project construction is planned in six phases. The site is comprised of approximately 131 contiguous acres, and is generally bounded by Madonna Road, Dalidio Drive, and U.S. Highway 101.
